MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — During the school year, parents are confident children will be fed, but during the summer months, families can struggle to provide children with a nutritious meal.
Terri Breckenridge, assistant general manager at Wind Creek, joined WKRG’s campaign Stock the Pantry, a partnership with Feeding the Gulf Coast to help children get the food and nutrition they need this summer.
Wind Creek is asking for donations of non-perishable food such as canned meat, protein bars, and soups. Donations are accepted until April 29.
