Apart from Cole Sprouse, the stars of Riverdale were all relatively unknown actors before their roles on the hit show skyrocketed them to superstardom pretty much overnight. And with fame comes a whole lot of speculation regarding everything from your love life to what cosmetic surgery you've gotten.

Madelaine Petsch knows this best. As the actress who plays the crimson-lipped, red-haired Cheryl Blossom on the show, fans are constantly bombarding her with questions like whether her lips and hair are real or not.

Well, those questions can stop right here and now because Madelaine just dished the answer in an interview with Cosmopolitan.com.

Madelaine said people are obsessed with knowing what's real and what's not. "If my hair is real, if my eyelashes are real, my butt's real," Madelaine said of the constant questions about her appearance. "It's constant."

But is it all real in her case? "It's all real," she said." All natural, baby! And I’m a natural redhead."

Funnily enough, Madelaine says one feature that's iconically Cheryl Blossom was precisely what she was made fun of for as a kid: being a red head. "It's funny because I was made fun of for it so much as a kid," the actress revealed. "I grew up in a small town, I was the only redhead other than my brother. We had South African accents, I was a vegan, I was raised without religion. I was just the weirdest kid in this small town, so I got made fun of a lot for it. My brother got stones thrown at him!"

But getting bullied as a kid for her appearance no longer bothers Madelaine because she's grown to love her red hair. "Now I very much embrace it and want people to know I'm a natural redhead and proud of that," she explained.
