Stormy Daniels sports $4000 Zac Posen gown for new Vogue spread
In late July, it was rumored that Stormy Daniels would appear in a new Vogue spread shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz. On Tuesday, those rumors were confirmed when the alleged former mistress of President Trump gave social media a sneak peak at her photoshoot, which will soon hit stands as part of the October issue.

The spread, titled "Stormy Daniel's Isn't Backing Down," features the porn star standing alongside her lawyer Michael Avenatti. The 39-year-old Daniels was nearly unrecognizable in a $4000 Zac Posen mermaid gown and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
Many were quick to notice the "significance" of Stormy being profiled in Vogue before FLOTUS Melania Trump. The magazine has a tradition of profiling the first ladies, and while Wintour predicted Trump would be granted the same opportunity, the former model has yet to appear.
Others called out the significance behind the designer of Stormy's gown. Zac Posen has been vocal about his refusal to dress both Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump since the election, although he's dressed them in the past. "I'm very upset with the state of affairs right now. I always try to be optimistic. I think that freedom will prevail," the designer said back in 2017.
I might add, Stormy Daniels is wearing a (likely customized) gown from @zac_posen in the @voguemagazine story. Posen is one of a handful of fashion designers who says he refuses to dress members of the first family, @FLOTUS and @IvankaTrump chief among. https://t.co/YuoYB1bj47

See more: Daniels' claims about Trump
As reported by Vogue, the interview took place long before August 21, the day when Michael Cohen reached a plea deal with federal prosecutors regarding the $130K payout Daniels received.
The president has denied the relationship and claims he was not aware of any payment to Daniels or Karen McDougal, a Playboy model who also claims she had an affair with Trump.
In the bombshell interview, Daniels offers intimate details on her relationship with Donald Trump, which she maintains was consensual after the two met at a charity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe in 2006. The result of Cohen's payout to Daniels making headlines has resulted in threatening notes and even car chases: Daniels has since hired three body guards.
The October Vogue issue will hit stands in September.
