According to a press release, this free admission was made possible through a grant renewal from the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama and The Caring Foundation.

The renewal means students can attend shows in the five-concert 2024-25 season for free. The season begins on Sept. 29 with Imani Winds and runs through March 16 with the Arcis Saxophon Quartett, according to the release.

“Any student seeking free admission should arrive at the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center prior
to 3 p.m. on the day of the concert,” the release said.
