There's been a lot of (some might say endless) speculation about whether or not Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will show up at King Charles's upcoming coronation following the publication of Spare, and honestly, the verdict is still out. But according to The Mail on Sunday, if the Sussexes do attend, they're "unlikely" to be invited to join King Charles and Queen Consort Camila on the balcony post-coronation.

The Palace actually just confirmed the balcony details in a new press release about the coronation, simply writing, "At Buckingham Palace, The King and The Queen Consort, accompanied by Members of the Royal Family, will appear on the balcony to conclude the day’s ceremonial events." However, The Mail on Sunday reported that the lineup will likely be restricted to working royals, hence the Sussexes' snub. This also means we shouldn't expect to see Princess Eugenie or Princess Beatrice on the balcony, or their disgraced father, Prince Andrew.

Reminder that King Charles's coronation is on May 6th, which happens to be the birthday of Meghan and Harry's son Archie. So, even if the Sussexes are invited, there's a chance they might skip the event to spend the day with Archie—TBD!

  • It's taking place at Westminster Abbey

  • There'll be a celebratory concert on May 7th broadcasted by the BBC

  • Charles and Camilla will arrive at the coronation via a fancy procession
