Sweet Golden Retriever Lovingly and Patiently Waits for Toddler to Give Him a Treat

There's something so sweet about watching pets with our babies and toddlers. Their interactions are so heartwarming - and sometimes funny - and the bond that they have with each other is incredible to watch grow. That's why this video that Tucker the GENTLEman's mom shared was so special to me...Tucker is so patient with his toddler sister!

The video was shared in mid-January 2024. In it, we see the adorable little girl be given a dog treat by her mom. Mom tells her to give it to Tucker, but baby girl wants to check it out first...I think she was considering trying it herself! The patience and gentleness that Tucker shows her while he waits for the treat are just beautiful!

@Tucker wanted that treat so bad he was foaming at the mouth! And although he really wanted it, he was so gentle when he took the treat from baby girl. He deserved another treat just for being so sweet and patient! People loved the golden retriever's video as much as I did and left more than 1,900 comments! @Mallory Chadwell Joh got almost 49 thousand likes when she pointed out, "He was so gentle and then so aggressive eating it LOL!" @JohnH900 made me laugh with, "Tuckers like “yeah give it to Tucker”!" @marshmallow swooned, "They are gonna be partners in crime someday soon, she'll be stealing all the treats for him"! She will definitely be sneaking Tucker treats, and she probably already sneaks him things from her plate when she eats...I know my kids did!

Do you feed your dog foods that we eat? I'm not talking about candy or processed foods that none of us should really eat, but the healthy stuff. Things like chicken and rice. Fruits and veggies and natural peanut butter. Berries and pumpkin. Wholesome, healthy foods can seem like a treat for dogs! And many people make their own dog food and treats using things from the pantry.

It was something that we all enjoyed doing together, and I highly recommend trying it for your pup!
