Two new Taco Bell offerings have some fans suggesting the forthcoming menu items are enough to get them to “ditch Chick-fil-A” this summer.
The Mexican fast-food chain has announced several exciting menu additions ahead of summer. Earlier this month, Taco Bell revealed that two long-loved Cheez-It-inspired test items will finally come to menus nationwide, thrilling fans who love the cheesy meals.
This week, Taco Bell upped the ante with two new frozen drink announcements, leaving many fans feeling excited.
Taco Bell’s new Strawberry Limonada and Vanilla Creme Limonada will hit stores nationwide in June. Some locations will reportedly offer early access to the drinks, according to food blogger Markie Devo.
The Strawberry Limonada will use a lemonade freeze base with a frozen strawberry mix added in. Meanwhile, the Vanilla Creme Limonada will mix vanilla creamer with a frozen lemonade base, according to information about the beverages that an unnamed Taco Bell employee shared.
The two new frozen drinks will reportedly hit stores during the same timeframe when Taco Bell’s new Cheez-It Crunchwrap and Cheez-It Tostada land on menus. Learning that the four new menu items will arrive during the first month of summer thrilled many Taco Bell fans who commented on Devo's Friday, May 24 Instagram announcement.
“There almost always has to be a new freeze when a new item drops ??,” one fan wrote, adding, “This sounds so good!”
“Best launch in awhile!” another fan commented. “I'm going to try all of them; definitely intrigued by the vanilla.”
“All of that looks bussin,” one person noted as another said the “Strawberry ?? limonada ????? ??” would be their frozen drink flavor of choice.
The Strawberry Limonada and Vanilla Creme Limonada will be available for customers around the same time Chick-fil-A’s Peach Milkshake returns to menus. Though many Chick-fil-A fans were excited to learn about the beverage’s return, Taco Bell fans on Friday suggested they aren’t as eager to visit Chick-fil-A now that they have two other new drinks to look forward to.
Taco Bell’s new Vanilla Creme Limonada “was allll they needed for me to ditch chick fil a for them for the whole damn summer ??????????,” one person wrote.
