Taco Bell Announces New Menu Items and a Returning Fan Favorite for the Holidays
Taco Bell is adding two new items to its menu, and reintroducing an old fan favorite, just in time for the holiday season. Food blogger Markie Devo announced the additions on Instagram over the weekend, Parade reported.
Starting November 16, Taco Bell aficionados can reacquaint themselves with the classic Rolled Chicken Taco, more commonly known as a taquito. The chain’s rolled tacos first debuted in 2014 to rapturous response, and they returned for a brief visit earlier this year. It’s unclear if this current rollout will be similarly limited.
The rolled tacos are served with a spicy ranch sauce, and you can buy them individually or as part of the Rolled Chicken Tacos Deluxe Craving Box. The latter option comes with two rolled tacos, ranch dipping sauce, a Beefy 5 Layer Burrito, cinnamon twists, and a medium drink.
Taco Bell is dropping a hotly anticipated new item on November 16, as well. Devo described the Grilled Cheese Nacho Fries as french fries topped with a three-cheese blend and nacho cheese. You’ll have your choice of meat, as well, and all orders come slathered in a creamy chipotle sauce.
In early December, Taco Bell will unveil its Double Berry Freeze. This new beverage, following the brand’s well-known freezes like Baja Blast and Cherry Sunrise, will feature swirls of wild strawberry and blue raspberry. An exact launch date hasn’t been announced yet.
Taco Bell is also offering a Nacho Fries Lovers Pass beginning November 14. It’s a food subscription service which, for just $10 per month, gets you one order of regular-sized Nacho Fries every day.
The news of additional items comes after Taco Bell reintroduced their beloved Coin Drop game over the summer. Last month, a study determined Taco Bell had the fastest drive-thrus of the 10 major chains surveyed. That sort of service, combined with their fresh menu items, should keep business booming well into the new year.
