Taco Bell Fans Melting Down as Chain Tests Cool New Menu Item
Taco Bell
Taco Bell is breaking the ice this spring/summer with a brand new lineup of menu items.
The Mexican-inspired fast food chain is unveiling four flavors of a frozen treat that sounds perfect for warmer weather: Churro Chillers.
Food blog Snackolator shared details of the ice cream beverages in a social media post shared on Sunday, April 28.
"Churro Chillers are 'swirled with craveable flavor on the inside, filled with a blended sweet shake and topped with a layer of cold foam and churro crumbles,'" the caption read, also announcing that they'll be available in a variety of flavors like Mexican Chocolate, Dulce de Leche Coffee, Wild Strawberry and Sweet Vanilla.
Though the milkshakes are not yet a nationwide release, they can be found at "select locations in the Dallas, TX and Chicago, IL markets," according to the Instagram upload. The official Taco Bell app can also be utilized for fans wanting to track down where exactly they can find the creamy drinks.
From the looks of the picture shared alongside the informative note on the menu items, the sweet treats look just as tasty as they sound, as each flavor includes a syrup drizzle on the inside of the cup.
In the comment section, fans popped in with their reactions to the new limited drop.
"Absolutely and give me the Mexican Chocolate!" one exclaimed, while another inquired, "Why is the vanilla one purple?"
Another seemed excited to try out one, in particular, writing, "Dulce de leche tho ??."
"When you think Taco Bell can’t get any better," someone else added.
Meanwhile, one unimpressed social media user chimed in with, "We want nacho fries not milkshakes," and luckily for them, they may be getting their wish!
