BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Tailgating season in Louisiana has arrived.
Louisiana takes its tailgates seriously, there is always food, drinks, tents and people ready to have a good time. Some might say they like to have a football party more than they like to watch the game.
In Baton Rouge, Louisiana State University and Southern University and A&M College tailgates are an essential part of college football. According to Southern, over two-thirds of Jaguars fans tailgate for five or more hours before every game.
Food at tailgates is important. Here are some ideas if you are new to the Louisiana football parties.
