Target's 2018 Weekend Deals For Holiday Savings
Target first introduced Weekend Deals last year to offer guests meaningful discounts on the items they’re shopping for most during the holiday season – like gifts, decorations, and home items to prep for holiday gatherings. You might even be able to score Target's Family Pajama Collection.
Each Wednesday Target will release the following weekend's deals. More people shop Target on the weekend, which is why you'll find these deals only on Saturday and Sunday. Don't let the crowds intimidate you; Target also offers Order Pickup inside the store, Drive Up, and same-day delivery in some states. Check out our other Target shopping tricks — like the price rain check — for more ways to save money shopping at Target.
And if this week's deal doesn't cover whats on your list? Next week's might, or you can check out the other deals happening at Target.
December 1-2 Only
The first weekend in December is the best weekend to buy Target giftcards at 10% off — no coupon or code needed. Use those Target giftcards as stocking stuffers, or to pick up gifts later in the season. If you can't get to a store, this same deal is offered on Target.com. You can even watch for deals on future shopping from your couch. If you're looking for Christmas decor, use Target's augmented reality app to test out how Christmas trees look in your home. Then, if a sale happens, you'll know which tree is best for you!
December 8-9 Only
This weekend we've got our eye on the kitchen, with an additional 25 percent off kitchen appliances and cookware. This deal is in stores and on Target.com. You can take a peek at what's discounted using the Cartwheel app, too. And, just like last week, there's no coupon or code needed because the discount automatically applies at checkout. What you won't find in this sale: floor care, tabletop or kitchen utensils, and bakeware. What you will find? Small kitchen appliances (think toasters, blenders, etc.) and other appliances like air fryers.
December 15-16 Only
This weekend's deals are even more limited — to one day! This Saturday, Dec. 15 only, shoppers can take 30% off select women’s apparel and boots. Just like the previous weekend deals, this applies in-store and on Target.com. No coupon or code needed—the discount applies automatically at checkout.
Some deals from Green Monday (Dec. 10) will also still be in affect o Dec. 15, so watch for deals on toys from top brands and more while you're shopping!
What We're Shopping For
Last year deals included toys, games and movies, including $10 new releases. This year's deals are sure to include gifts for kids and items to use as hostess gifts. You might even pick up one of the best family board games as a great gift for the whole family. We're also hoping for Target's christmas decorations from Hearth and Hand, and this fun Christmas Tree costume.

These year we also have our eye on Target's non-holiday design brands, like Target's new household brand Smartly, which launched in October with common household items, including cleaning products, and Chrissy Teigen's new line. We're also watching for Made By Design, Target's simplistic home brand, and Opalhouse, a more eclectic brand, for kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom products for 2019.

We're also super hyped that Target is now selling affordable weighted blankets. Weighted blankets are used to alleviate anxiety and stress, can help those with restless legs, insomnia, and other sleep disorders, and is a much-loved product for people with sensory disorders. They're throw sized, which means they can be used in bed, on the couch, and even in the car.
