With six nominations, Taylor Swift dressed to have a big night at the 2024 Grammys. While her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, could not join her due to Super Bowl practice, Swift looked stunning arriving in a Schiaparelli couture white gown with a thigh high leg slit. She wore her hair in a low ponytail with a watch choker that appeared to have the time set to midnight. Swift posed on the red carpet with Lana Del Rey, whom she is sitting next to inside.
This evening, Swift is up for Record of the Year (“Anti-Hero”), Album of the Year (Midnights), Song of the Year (“Anti-Hero”), Best Pop Vocal Album (Midnights), Best Pop Solo Performance (“Anti-Hero”), and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (“Karma” with Ice Spice).
Ahead of the show, Kelce expressed his regrets that he could not be there with her. During an appearance Wednesday on The Pat McAfee Show, Kelce said, “I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for. But I think I got practice on Sunday. I know I got practice Saturday, but Sunday is a travel day. Unfortunately I’ve got to get ready for this big ol’ Super Bowl that we’ve got in a week.”
Kelce is due to arrive in Las Vegas on Sunday ahead of the Super Bowl there next weekend. Swift is expected to fly to Vegas from Tokyo, where she will be playing four Eras tour concerts next week, on February 10 in order to make the game.
Kelce spoke about their relationship as well during his Wednesday interview, calling their love story a “beautiful thing.”
“Hopefully everyone realizes that we’re just two people in a relationship supporting each other and having fun with it, man,” he said. “It’s nothing more than that as much as the world wants to paint the picture and make us the enemy, we just have fun with it. We enjoy every single bit of it. And sure enough, I love it when Taylor comes to support me and enjoys the game with the fam and friends. It’s been nothing than just a wonderful year, man.”
