Taylor Swift is making power moves when it comes to helping those affected by the deadly storms in Nashville, Tennessee.

On Thursday (March 5), Swift took to her personal Instagram account with a touching message for her Story.

"Nashville is my home," she began, "and thee fact that so many people have lost their homes and so much more in Middle Tennessee is devastating to me."

"I've made a donation to the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund," she continued. "If you'd like to do the same, swipe up." Swift included a link to the fund to make it easy for fans to click and make a payment. According to Page Six, a rep for Swift confirmed that she did indeed make her own donation, to the tune of a whopping $1 million.

The pop star's efforts were heartfelt indeed, especially considering the pain left in the storm's wake.
