Taylor Swift Expected to Attend Upcoming Chiefs Game to Support Travis Kelce, Report Says
Taylor Swift's show of support at Travis Kelce's football game might become a repeat occurrence, at least if new reports are to be believed.
After the singer-songwriter made a surprise appearance at the Kansas City Chiefs' game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Sept. 24, Swift will reportedly attend the Sunday, Oct. 1 game as well.
NBC Sports shared Michael McCarthy of FrontOfficeSports.com's report about Swift's possible attendance. They noted that it could cause a beneficial ratings boost for NBC and Peacock, who are broadcasting the game, as Jets player Aaron Rodgers' current injury might put a damper on fans' enthusiasm.
During the Chiefs-Bears game, Kelce's team took home the win with a 41-10 score. After the game, the Chiefs celebrated the victory with an after-party, with Swift in attendance.
Kelce's teammate and close friend, Patrick Mahones, confirmed that he met the singer Sunday night but didn't say much else, commenting at a press conference on Wednesday, Sept. 27, "She's really cool, good people."
While Swift has been tight-lipped about the possible romance, as the star is usually quite private when it comes to her personal life, Kelce has shared a few comments here and there about the situation.
Most recently, he spoke with his brother, Jason Kelce, on their podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, recalling the excitement in the suite as Swift cheered on the team during the game.
Kelce said, "To see the slow-motion chest bumps, to see the high fives with mom, to see how the Chiefs kingdom was all excited she was there, that shit was absolutely hysterical, it was definitely a game I’ll remember, that’s for damn sure."
He even added a little reference to Swift's lyrics, saying, "And then we just slid off in the getaway car in the end."
While it's clear that Swift and Kelce have hung out together, neither has outright confirmed that they are dating despite the ongoing rumors.
