Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn, the once super-private couple, are totally fine being a little more public in 2020. They started the year sitting next to each other at the Golden Globes and showing mild PDA during their first public date. Then last night, at the NME Awards in London, they were at it again.

They sat next to each other, and an audience member, Sophie, got a video of them kissing during the show. Swift pulled Alwyn in for the big moment during the broadcast:

They also hugged when Swift was announced the winner of Best Solo Act, and Swift was generally pretty affectionate with her British boyfriend throughout the ceremony. They've been together for three years at this point, and people know they're dating, so why hide it?

Swift was an unexpected attendee at the British awards ceremony. She came wearing an excellent two-tone Monse short suit.

Swift's appearance comes shortly after her Netflix documentary Miss Americana dropped. In it, she discussed falling in love with Alwyn after her public image took a hit in the summer of 2016. They met in the fall.

“I felt alone, I felt really bitter,” Swift said. “I felt sort of like a wounded animal lashing out. I figured I had to reset everything. I had to reconstruct an entire belief system for my own personal sanity. I also was falling in love with someone who had a wonderfully normal, balanced life.”

Swift explained they chose together to keep their relationship out of the limelight. "We decided together we wanted our relationship to be private," she said. “Even though it [Swift's public image in 2016] was really horrible, I was happy. But I wasn’t happy in the way I was trained to be happy. It was happiness without anyone else’s input. We were just…happy.”
