Will Taylor Swift and Jason Kelce Finally Meet During the Chiefs-Bills Playoff Game?
Jason Kelce, Taylor Swift
Now that the Philadelphia Eagles are out of the NFL playoffs, Taylor Swift fans are curious: Will the pop superstar and Jason Kelce (her boyfriend Travis Kelce's brother) finally meet during the Chiefs-Bills playoff game?
On Jan. 15, the Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the first round of the playoffs—meaning Jason, the Eagles' center, doesn't have a game to play this weekend. Because the Kansas City Chiefs won against the Miami Dolphins on Jan. 13, the team faces off against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Jan. 21.
So what are the odds that the "Cruel Summer" songstress and her beau's older brother will both be at the Chiefs-Bills game?
Although neither Swift nor Travis have confirmed whether the singer will attend, there's a solid chance Swift will make an appearance at the Jan. 21 playoff game. Swift doesn't resume her Eras Tour shows until Feb. 7 in Tokyo. Plus, she has cheered on Travis at six of his last seven games.
Odds are that Jason will attend, too. The elder Kelce sibling was photographed arriving in Buffalo ahead of the Chiefs-Bills playoff game on Jan. 21. Jason rocked a "Big Yet" T-shirt to support his brother ahead of the matchup. Additionally, a source close to the Kelces told People that Jason and his wife, Kylie, would both attend.
On Friday, Jan. 19, he and Travis published a bonus episode of their podcast, New Heights, and Jason hinted that he could very well show up to support Trav. (Skip to roughly the 6:19 mark.)
"I can't wait for this challenge, man," Travis said of the Chiefs-Bills game. "I just want to go out there and keep feeling the energy and the excitement."
"I might have to go to this one," a solemn Jason remarked. "I'm not doing anything, so..."
"To that, Travis exclaimed, "Hey-oooooh!"
"Maybe I can jump through a table," Jason added, referencing the quirky fan tradition. "I'm looking forward to seeing that environment."
It looks like fans will have to tune in to find out whether Swift and Jason will have their first public meeting!
Kickoff for the Chiefs-Bills playoff game is at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 21, at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, N.Y.
