Last year, Taylor Swift was a surprise presenter at the Golden Globes. This year, she's a nominee thanks to Cats. The singer's song with Andrew Lloyd Webber for the film, "Beautiful Ghosts," is nominated for Best Original Song - Motion Picture. For this historic occasion, Swift really dressed up. She opted for a blue and yellow giant floral dress by Etro. She accessorized minimally, wearing dangle earrings. Her hair was up.

Swift walked the carpet solo. While Swift does have a boyfriend of three years, British actor Joe Alwyn, she has opted to keep their relationship largely out of the public eye. The two have never walked a red carpet together. He walked the carpet tonight early, way before she did. They were spotted inside the ceremony together though:

Swift's Golden Globes appearance comes after reports surfaced that the singer spent her Christmas abroad with Alwyn, his family, and her family. A source told E! that "Taylor spent the holidays in England with Joe. She was there for the week leading up to Christmas and spent time with Joe's family and friends. Some of Taylor's family also flew in from Nashville to spend time with them."

The source told E! on December 26 that "Taylor is still there and will stay on with Joe after her family leaves."

E! was told before the Christmas holiday that Swift actually spends a lot of time with Alwyn in England, albeit secretly. "Taylor has been spending a lot of down time in London," a source told the outlet at the beginning of December. "She doesn't go out much other than to take a walk with Joe or go to the local pub. They spend a lot of time with Joe's family and friends. All weekend they had people come over or they went to family members' homes."
