One of the things Taylor Swift “loves” about Travis Kelce’s looks is a style he appears to put a lot of effort into keeping up with.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s barber, Patrick Regan, recently spoke with Fox News Digital about his history with Kelce and interactions with the “Blank Space” singer.
Regan told the news outlet that he has been cutting Kelce’s hair ever since the two met about six years ago in Florida. Regan now makes frequent trips to Kansas City, Missouri, so that he can give the NFL player a “skin fade” haircut, Kelce’s preferred style, ahead of the Chiefs’ game days. Though the style predates Kelce’s adoption of it quite a bit, Regan said he’s aware that some people are now referring to it as the “Travis Kelce cut,” a nod to the tight end’s rise in popularity.

Recently, Regan said Swift has been around “a bunch of times” to watch him cut Kelce’s hair—and it’s a look she approves of.
“Taylor loves the haircut,” Regan told Fox News Digital, adding that she “always compliments it after.”
Regan often shares photos of his clients mid-trim on social media. In one Dec. 2023 Instagram post featuring Kelce, Regan personally thanked Swift for sharing snapshots of her boyfriend post-haircut.
Swift and Kelce went public with their relationship last fall as she started rooting him on at Chiefs games. She most recently attended the Chiefs’ AFC Championship game last weekend, during which Kelce and his team defeated the Baltimore Ravens in their final hurdle to reaching Super Bowl LVIII. The couple was spotted sharing a sweet PDA moment after the game when Swift and other members of the Kelce family joined him on the field to celebrate the Chiefs’ win.
Swift is now expected to attend the Super Bowl in person on Sunday, Feb. 11, to cheer for Kelce. However, she has a concert scheduled the night before in Tokyo, making a speedy return to the U.S. tricky but not impossible.
