Taylor Swift Receives 7-and-a-Half Minute Ovation at Eras Tour in LA
Taylor Swift never fails to be blown away by how much her fans cheer for her.
Ever since the first night of her history-making Eras Tour, Swift has driven the audience wild by performing a song on the piano, often receiving a minutes-long ovation after singing her song "Champagne Problems."
But the audience in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Aug. 8 has apparently taken the cake for the longest ovation yet, which went on for 7-and-a-half straight minutes.
Per usual, the "Anti-Hero" songstress appeared to be completely overwhelmed by the relentless applause, and she could be seen yelling "What?" and "This is so loud!" in footage from the show.
Swift's fans were thrilled to hear about the never-ending applause for the performer, who one person said "deserves this and sm more" in a message shared on Twitter after the show.
"Crowd Cheering (10 minute version)" another Twitter user quipped.
"she's so cute help," someone else wrote, referring to Swift's wholesome reaction to the cheers.
"She's so mother," added another.
While Tuesday night's crowd has the honor of saying they gave Swift the longest ovation yet, it may not stay that way for long, as Swifties are already plotting to top the nearly 8-minute ovation.
"Now tomorrow has to be 8+ min long to end the 1st part of tour strong!!" one person tweeted, referring to the end of the Eras Tour 2023 US leg.
"People attending the final date of LA better do it for 13 minutes," someone else insisted.
