Taylor Swift's great choice between attending the Grammys in Los Angeles this Sunday-where she's nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album-and attending the British Academy Film Awards in London to support her boyfriend Joe Alwyn has seemingly been made. Variety is reporting via sources that Swift is not attending the Grammys. Maroon 5 won't either, but, in a real twist, Korean pop boy band BTS will be there.

It hasn't been confirmed that Swift will attend the BAFTAs instead, but her appearance at the British award show is not far-fetched considering Swift is already in London filming Cats and previously attended the Golden Globes in part to support Alwyn. Should Swift attend the BAFTAs, she would have the chance to reunite with Prince William and meet Kate Middleton too, as the royal couple is set to attend the show.

Swift is only nominated for one Grammy this year-something outlets called out as a snub by the Academy because her entire Reputation album was eligible for multiple categories.

The last time Swift attended the Grammys ceremony was way back in 2016, which means if she attends next year's show (which isn't entirely likely unless she releases new music that she gets a nomination for or the Cats soundtrack gets nominated), it will be four years since Swift made an appearance there. She and Selena Gomez walked the carpet together in 2016 for a real throwback image:

Swift has kept a relatively low profile on social media and hasn't been photographed out in England. She did update her Instagram last week to make it clear to fans she's been busy shooting Cats abroad:

At the BAFTAs on Sunday, Alwyn is up for two cast nominations for The Favourite, Best Film and Outstanding British Film. Swift's friend Emma Stone also has a Best Supporting Actress nomination for the film.

Should Swift walk the red carpet with Alwyn at the BAFTAs, by the way, it would be her first time ever doing so with him. She may save that milestone for the Oscars later this month, where Alwyn and The Favourite cast are also nominated in multiple categories. But Swift at a BAFTAs after party with Alwyn or appearing solo on the red carpet to show her support? A real likelihood, especially now that she isn't committed to being in Los Angeles for the Grammys.
