Taylor Swift Wears Pat McGrath’s Glitter Lipstick in 'I Don’t Wanna Live Forever' Music Video
Taylor Swift and Zayn just dropped the music video for their 50 Shades Darker–themed music collaboration “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever.” In it, Zayn breaks dishes, Swift writhes around lingerie, and there’s lots of pouty brooding on a bed by both of the stars.
But the exciting news for beauty junkies? Swift’s lips, which are painted with Pat McGrath’s glitter lipstick.
Anyone who has been following legendary makeup artist’s product releases over the past year won’t be surprised at how Swift’s (perfectly applied) lipstick seems to sparkle even in the gloomy music video light. The glitter look comes from the perpetually out-of-stock Lust 004 Kit ($60), which contains two deep lipstick shades, a metallic gold pigment, actual glitter, and clear gloss to tie the whole look together.
While Swift is normally ubiquitous with her “red lip classic thing,” however, for a video with a darker and more *ahem* adult theme, it’s great that she’s subtly switching things up.
Another theory: It’s a well known fact Swift spends a lot of time on Instagram, and even she wasn’t immune to the viral pull of the glitter lips that has appeared on most of her model squad. One look at McGrath’s feed, and you’ll want in on the handiwork that has graced everyone from Chrissy Teigen to Bella Hadid to Jenna Dewan-Tatum over the past year.

There’s no word on whether McGrath herself was on set to make Swift sparkle, but the two have been known to collaborate in the past. One thing we can say for sure: If you haven’t already managed to get your hands on a Lust 004 Kit, you might just have to be a member of the Swift squad to get one now.
