Cara Delevingne's Los Angeles-area home was engulfed in flames early Friday morning.
According to sources that spoke with TMZ, the fire department was called to the model's Studio City lot around 3:52 a.m. on March 15. And yes, it appears to be the same property that earned Delevingne a feature in Architectural Digest three years ago. It's also a historical icon as the house was originally built in 1941 for the family that founded the Vons supermarket chain.
Law enforcement told the outlet that when the fire crews showed up, they believed the fire to be coming from a room located in the back of the home. The flames quickly grew, spreading to the attic and eventually collapsing a good portion of the roof.
It took firefighters quite some time to get the massive blaze under control. Even with 94 total firefighters and 13 different engines arriving on the scene, first responders were battling the blaze for nearly two hours. TMZ was also told that somewhere around four ambulances were sent to the property to administer first aid.
During the battle, at least two injuries occurred, one of which was a first responder. According to the publication, one firefighter is reported to have fallen off a ladder while trying to fight the flames and was hurt, although it's unclear to what extent. The second injury came from inside the house, as an unnamed occupant was treated for smoke inhalation.
Fortunately, the 31-year-old Only Murders in the Building alum was not home at the time. Delevingne is currently overseas in London, working at the Playhouse Theater.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
