Superintendent Robert P. Sanborn III confirmed the incident to WCVB, but was unsure whether a student or staff member was behind the wheel of the Gator at the time of the accident, which is currently under investigation.
“Our grounds are kind of like their classroom,” Sanborn said in a separate interview with the Cape Cod Times, explaining why students were outside.
He added that “the kids that were on the scene were amazing.”
Yahoo Lifestyle has contacted Sanborn for further comment.
