The wait is over: Ted Lasso is finally back for its third season on March 15, 2023. However, if you simply can't enough of the always-optimistic coach and his ragtag football team, Airbnb is giving you the chance to live in Ted's world for a night. Lucky fans have the chance to win a three individual one-night stays at the Crown & Anchor, the show's go-to bar, on October 23, 24, and 25. The price? A cool £11, which is a subtle nod to the number of players on the pitch. (You know, because football is life.)
The hit Apple show reimagined a real-life hangout called the Prince's Head into Ted's beloved Crown & Anchor, and in honor of the new season, the bar is taking a well-deserved night off and is handing the keys over to Mae, the lovable pub owner played by Annette Badland.
“The Crown & Anchor is an essential fixture for AFC Richmond: It’s where friends, colleagues, and teammates come together to celebrate our triumphs or cope with the agony of relegation,” Mae said. “That’s why I’m pleased to host guests (and take the night off!). Time to give others the opportunity to experience the same camaraderie and sense of community that Coach Lasso inspires. After all, we’re Richmond ‘til we die!”
During each stay, you and three of your friends will don AFC Richmond gear as you cheer on the Greyhounds and watch your favorite moments from the show. But the party doesn't stop there: Guests will be able to show off their karaoke skills; play darts and pinball; as well as sit at Ted's favorite table and challenge a buddy to a chess game. Hungry? You can chow down on pub fare, English tea (or garbage water, as Ted calls it), and, yes, those signature shortbread biscuits. Once it's time to go to sleep, you and your friends can retire in the building's beautifully British bedrooms.
Fans can request to book this stay beginning Tuesday, March 21 at 1 p.m. ET on Airbnb's site. (Just remember that all guests are responsible for travel to and from Richmond.) Until then, mark your calendar and give your own "Believe" sign a few taps. Good luck!
