'Ted Lasso's Hannah Waddingham Goes for Gothic Chic in Black Lace Corset
Hannah Waddingham
Hannah Waddingham might star on a show about a soccer team, but she didn't come to play at the 2024 Golden Globes.
The Ted Lasso star got in touch with her edgier side while hitting the red carpet at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Sunday, Jan. 7, as she stepped out in a gothic black gown for the prestigious awards show ceremony.
Waddingham, 49, fiercely posed for her photo-op while rocking the sheer dress, made up of intricate black lace designs and a romantic corset bodice.
The long-sleeved garment featured see-through fabric along her arms and neckline, which collected into a unique turtleneck made out of black lace designs.
The bottom of the gown featured sheer material on her legs and an extravagant train that was perfectly draped behind her.
Waddingham's blonde hair was styled in a blunt bob, with her bangs delicately curled to one side. The captivating and intense look she gave into the camera made her seem more than ready to head into the night's awards.
The English actress is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role on Television, her second time receiving a nomination in the same category. Waddingham's role as Rebecca Welton in the Jason Sudeikis-led Apple TV series also earned her a nomination in 2022.
This year, she is up against a slew of other impressive TV ladies, including Abby Elliot (The Bear), Christina Ricci, (Yellowjackets), Elizabeth Debicki (The Crown), J. Smith-Cameron (Succession) and Meryl Streep (Only Murders in the Building.)
