Terri Irwin Shares Sweet Throwback Photo With the Late Steve Irwin
Terri Irwin is officially on Instagram!
For her first post, the conservationist and zookeeper dug into her personal archives, sharing an adorable throwback photo of herself with her late husband, Steve Irwin.
In the black and white image, Terri was photographed standing to the right of Steve as the two shared a kiss with their eyes wide open. The couple didn't pose just to capture the intimate moment but also their personalities, placing an iguana on their heads for the shot.
"One crowded hour of glorious life is worth an age without a name," the 59-year-old TV personality captioned the Aug. 26 upload.
The post quickly gained attention, and Terri a whole lot of followers, as her official account accumulated nearly 80,000 online fans overnight.
"This is the sweetest pic! Welcome to instagram!! :)," one user cheered.
"Wooohoooo! About time Terri! Glad to be following your Instagram Journey! ??," another exclaimed.
A third gushed, "Since I was a little kid you and your husband have taught me so much and inspired in me a tremendous amount of love for wildlife worldwide. Hugs from Argentina ????."
Luke Reavley, a longtime employee at the family's zoo, celebrated with two partying emojis, "????."
Terri and Steve's eldest of two children, daughter Bindi, was also among those wasting no time embracing her mother's presence on the picture-sharing platform. "I love you so much. Welcome to Instagram, Mum. ??," she wrote in the comments.

The couple, who married in 1992, also share a son named Robert. The two were together for over a decade before Steve's tragic passing in Sept. 2006, and in the years since, his family has remained dedicated to his passion for wildlife, continuing his efforts of "conservation through education" with their work at the Australia Zoo.
The Irwins have also worked to keep his spirit alive by talking about the late patriarch any chance they get. Bindi, who has followed in her famed father's conservationist footsteps, recently opened up about navigating the grief of losing her father by celebrating him every day, "When you lose someone it really is like losing a piece of your heart."
"If you can remember, reminisce on those really good times," she explained, "and choose to celebrate someone's life, I feel like that really helps."
