Halloween is all about embracing the creepy and freaky, and these candles go to the extreme. They're designed to look like life-size hands with a wick on the end of each fingertip. As the candles burns, the skin melts away and red wax oozes from the "wound," leaving a metal skeleton hand in its wake.

Even though we feel slightly nauseous after looking at it, there are plenty of people out there going nuts over this festive candle. Case in point: The retailer, Creepy Candles, can't keep them in stock. Each candle costs $35 and is handmade, which only adds to their realistic appearance - and the company's difficulty making their product as quickly as customers are buying it.

Watch and see what the complete burning experience looks like:

If you found that video exciting, not frightening, we have good news. Even though this candle isn't currently in stock, you can find similar designs elsewhere online, including this one from In Big Playground on Etsy. Though the $88 candle doesn't reveal a skeleton upon melting, we think the hand looks even more realistic.

If you want to embrace the gory aspect of the candle, this wax skull from Wilmington Lovely on Etsy starts off completely white, but oozes red "blood" as it melts.

Another idea: Make your own fake blood at home to spice up your party decor or your kids' creepy costumes.
