According to local reports, a Texas man named Nicholas D'Agostino, 29, has been targeting and shooting female drivers in Katy, Texas.

A Harris County prosecutor found social media posts where D'Agostino degraded women and, specifically, female drivers. The prosecutor told the court on Thursday, "He rants and rambles about female motorists and how incompetent they are, and how their sole purpose in life is to give birth to male children,” according to local news outlet KHOU 11.

D'Agostino was first arrested and charged with aggravated assault on July 20th for an incident on July 10th, where he allegedly shot a woman as she was driving to a car wash, with the bullet reportedly coming within millimeters of her heart.

He was then released on $75,000 bail, but was quickly arrested again for an incident on March 7th, where he allegedly shot a woman in the arm out of "self defense," alleging that she swerved toward him; the victim came forward after seeing reports of his first arrest.

D'Agostino is now being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is being held on a $250,000 bail. During his July arrest, he also confessed to five other incidents where he allegedly shot at other people on the road. ABC13 reports that the prosecutor says D'Agostino is a threat to the community and particularly to female drivers.
