Teyana Taylor’s Bantu Knots Are Our #HairGoals Right Now

Teyana Taylor’s always perfectly toned abs are at the top of my my personal #bodygoals (that will likely never be achieved, due to my love of rice and pasta). Now Taylor has just earned herself a spot on my #hairgoals vision board — and the look that got her there is definitely more within my reach than, say, a six-pack would be.

Taylor posted a selfie to Instagram, in which we see the rapper wearing a colorful dashiki and ripped burgundy pants. But the best part of the look was definitely the hair. Taylor showed off a crop of two-tone braids twisted into a few large Bantu knots. It’s a fabulous protective style that can work as a ’do on its own – no need to hide all that gorgeous hair under a satin scarf!

And her Instagram followers were also feeling the look. “Girl you have the features to rock that hair style… yasss hun,” @impressthe.empress wrote. “Slaying them Bantu knots gyal,” @babyitscleopatra chimed in. “The best hair style you ever had.. Keep it,” @eyeamkbs wrote, voicing her approval.

And yep – Taylor looks mighty fine indeed with her new ’do. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to the beauty supply store for some gray braiding hair. This is a look just begging to be recreated!
