Thandie Newton Attends ‘Dumbo’ Premiere with Her Mini-Me Daughter

Updated

Just when we thought Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber were Hollywood’s ultimate mother-daughter duo, Thandie Newton and Nico Parker swooped in to say, “Remember us?”

Newton recently attended the London premiere of Disney’s live-action Dumbo movie, where the Westworld star, 46, posed for pictures alongside her 14-year-old mini-me.

Parker wore a pale pink gown with orange detailing and styled her curly hair in a low ponytail. Newton opted for a glamorous gray sequin dress, and they could totally pass for sisters.

The Line of Duty actress attended the premiere in honor of Parker, who stars as Holt Farrier’s (Colin Farrell) daughter, Milly, in the new Dumbo movie. Newton previously discussed Parker’s acting career at the 2019 Golden Globes, where she explained to Ryan Seacrest why the movie took so long to produce.

“She’s definitely taking her own path but yeah, she’s acting,” she said. “She was 12 when she made Dumbo, the live-action movie that’s been beautifully directed by Tim Burton. She’s now 14—the movie has obviously taken a couple of years, because of CGI and so on.”

Guess Maeve has a clone after all.
