Pool Party canceled: The Family Pool Party that had been planned at the Aquatic Center June 21 has been rescheduled for Aug. 17 because of inclement weather in the forecast June 21.

Attend the summer’s First Night Market 920

Wednesday night family fun returns to downtown Manitowoc! Night Market 920 is from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at 720 Quay St. June 19.

Have dinner from a local food truck, shop the vendor booths and take in live music right along the Manitowoc River.

This is the first one of the season, and it will have Gone 2 Paradise, The Ultimate Jimmy Buffett Tribute, playing live.

The event benefits Grow It Forward’s mission.

Additional Night Market 920’s will occur July 19 and Aug.14 with different bands performing.

Sip at the Silver Creek Beer Garden

Hop over to Silver Creek Park, 3001 S. 10th St., for some hops!

The Silver Creek Beer Garden invites the public to the park from 2 to 5 p.m. June 23 for some fresh air, yard games, food, and music by Glo and Joe while sipping some brews and making new friends.

Have S’mores on the Shore

Celebrate the completion of the new community amenities in the River Point District at S’mores on the Shore!

From 4:30 to 6 p.m. June 20, sit around the campfire and make s’mores with Manitowoc fire and police officers while learning about fire safety and seeing the public safety vehicles up close.

A Family Pool Party that had been scheduled for June 21 has been rescheduled for 5:30-7:30 p.m. Aug. 17 at the Manitowoc Family Aquatic Center, 940 N. 18th St. The date was moved because of bad weather in the forecast June 21.

Plenty of pool toys, games, music and concessions will be included. Then, watch the movie “Rookie of the Year” in the park afterward.

Listen to the Sounds of the Manitowoc Marine Band

Boogey down at Washington Park, 1115 Washington St.! Manitowoc Marine Band is putting on “Dance the Night Away,” a free concert, at 6:30 p.m. June 20.

This is a family-friendly event and the first in a series. Future dates include “Christmas in July” July 18, the “Kids and Disney Concert” Aug. 2 and the “Cruiser Concert” Aug. 11.
