Summer evenings aren’t complete without a little food and entertainment, and this weekend is sure to deliver.
Starting at 5 p.m. June 29, Brick’s Downtown Bar & Grill, 939 S. Eighth St., is hosting a street party with live music by Mark Croft and his full band.
There will also be plenty of food, drinks and activities to make the most of your night.

Take your dog to Craft Creek Brewing
This one is for the pups! Take your dog with you June 30 to Craft Creek Brewing Co., 220 N. Ninth St., for Dog’s Day Out, a party on their patio just for Fido.
There will be dog treats, dog-friendly beer and vinyl music.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Leashes are required.

From the big stage on The Voice to the big stage at the Capitol Civic Centre, don’t miss Jake Hoot!
Hoot was the champion of season 17 of The Voice, and is known for country music and songwriting.
Mentored by Kelly Clarkson, he is sure to warm your heart with hits like “I Would’ve Loved You” and “Best Job I Ever Had.”

Thunderstruck will be playing live at 7:30 p.m. June 27. Feel the power and electricity from this tribute band radiate from the lead singer’s lively Angus Young impression.

Enjoy Comedy Night outside at Sabbatical Brewing
Have a laugh and enjoy some fresh air at Sabbatical Brewing’s Comedy Night.
Take your own chair to their patio, and listen to the musings of John Berens, Hailey Kiefer, Chelby Morgan, Syed, AJ Grill and Andrew Roffe.
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. June 28. There is no cover and no reservations, which means more money for tasty brews from Sabbatical. The brewery is at 835 S. 29th St.
