This 100-Year-Old Just Became the Trendiest Great-Grandpa on Twitter

To celebrate her great-grandpa reaching the remarkable age of 100, Twitter user Jennifer Li tweeted a photo of him in his completely accurate birthday shirt. It promptly went viral and has been shared thousands of times.

Why did it go viral? He was wearing a shirt covered in the “100” emoji. Just look at it.

After getting the photo via text from her cousin, Jennifer shared the photo with the caption, “So my great grandpa turned 100 and this is what they got him.”

The photo was soon being retweeted, liked, and retweeted some more — and quickly racked up 34,000 retweets and 64,000 favorites.
