This firming body oil makes my arms look so toned, and it smells like sweet vanilla
I've never been a big fan of body oil. I was always convinced it would leave me feeling like I was covered in grease and that I would get it all over my clothes. But from the very first time I used Sol de Janeiro's Bum Bum Firmeza Body Oil, I've been a convert. It's not only incredibly nourishing and nongreasy, but it makes my arms look firm and toned — especially welcome as we head into the season of tank tops and sleeveless dresses.
This body oil leaves your skin glowing, but not greasy.
While I use the Bum Bum oil from my shoulders to my ankles, there is something about the sheen that it leaves on my shoulders and arms that makes me look like I've been at the gym for hours. This oil is incredibly lightweight and absorbs quickly, and while it does leave my skin glistening, it also moisturizes and firms my skin.
It's packed with Brazilian olive oil, microalgae extract and caffeine to hydrate, depuff and firm skin, respectively. The caffeine in question is Guarana Caffeine Complex which, according to the product description, "supports a healthy lymph system to promote drainage for firmer looking skin." The brand recommends applying the oil in circular motions to further encourage depuffing.
FYI: A little bit of this oil goes a long way. I usually only need one pump to cover both arms from my shoulders to my hands. So while it isn't cheap at $52, a bottle lasts me longer than a few months with regular use.
Another notable thing about this hero product? Its delicious scent. The fragrance has notes of pistachio, salted caramel and vanilla, which lasts on your skin like a high-quality perfume. If you're already a Sol de Janeiro fan, then you'll recognize this as the brand's popular Cheirosa 62 scent. The smell is warm, decadent and sweet. On days when I use the body oil, it smells so good that I usually skip layering a perfume on top.
But I'm not the only fan of Sol de Janeiro's Bum Bum Firmeza Body Oil — more than 1,000 Amazon shoppers have given it a five-star rating.
