Thomas Rhett's Wife Lauren Akins Shares Photo From Family 'Hot Tub Party' for Daughter's Birthday
The family celebrated their youngest child, Lillie, on her first birthday.
Country music artist Thomas Rhett, his wife, Lauren Akins, and their four daughters had a reason to celebrate on Nov. 15, as it was the youngest child's first birthday!
It looks like the family spent Lillie's special day at home relaxing. Akins shared a photo on Instagram of the crew hanging out together in the hot tub.
She captioned the post, "family hot tub party for Lillie's birthday 🎈🥰💕."
In the photo, Rhett grins as he holds Lillie in his arms. Their second youngest, Lennon, climbs on Rhett's back, while Ada and Willa, the two oldest, smile at the camera next to their father. Ada even holds up some peace signs for the picture.
Many found the photo absolutely adorable and took the time to wish Lillie a happy birthday in the comments.
"Happy Birthday, Lillie!!! 🎂🥳🎈Y’all are the cutest 🥰🥰🥰," said one fan.
Another noted, "That’s one happy dad and crew ❤️."
Rhett also posted about Lillie's birthday on his Instagram account, sharing a sweet photo of her wearing playful sunglasses and smiling up at the camera.
He wrote, "Lillie bug.. how are you one already? It seems like yesterday. For real. I love you so much. Every time i look at you you are smiling! Don’t ever lose that! Happy birthday to you little baby🙌."
Many more wished Lillie a happy birthday under Rhett's post, with the comments practically overflowing with well-wishes.
A year ago, Rhett introduced the world to Lillie, sharing a picture of himself, Akins, and the newborn at the hospital after her birth.
He said in the caption, "Lillie Carolina Akins 😍 born November 15th. 7.5 pounds of pure joy🙌."
Rhett went on to call his wife his hero, before saying, "Watching a child being born is legit a miracle. 4 under 6 here we go!"
In January of 2022, Rhett said that he and his wife plan to adopt again, but it won't be for a while, telling People, "Adoption is a hundred percent on our brains. In the next four to five years, we would love to do that. And Willa Gray talks about it all the time. It's been put on our hearts very heavily to do that again. We just don't really know when."
