Three of Victoria’s Secret’s Biggest Models Walked the Tory Burch Fashion Show
Like some of fashion’s most famous designers — Diane von Furstenberg, Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Jacobs — Tory Burch not only dresses celebrities but has become something of a celebrity herself.
And for its part, Tory Burch the brand is as recognizable as its namesake founder. You’re as likely to see the multi-billion-dollar label, touted as “accessible luxury,” on everyday people who don her emblematic ballet flats as you are on Kate Middleton.
Fittingly, her New York Fashion Week show was attended by names and faces carrying celebrity cachet. Shay Mitchell, Diane Kruger, and Camilla Belle all sat in the front row, and models included social media darlings Taylor Hill, Sara Sampaio, and Romee Strijd — each of whom claims Victoria’s Secret fame.
The three VS models wore silk, satin, and lace dresses, respectively, down Burch’s runway, evoking socialite sensibilities à la Katharine Hepburn in The Philadelphia Story.
The fall/winter 2017 ready-to-wear collection also features cozy enlarged shearling jackets, winter whites, and plaid tweeds. Of course, it probably won’t take very long before we see all of it on Hollywood starlets.
