“We are celebrating the health of these children. They’re thriving, they’re doing wonderful,” said Libby Bryson, marking director at Longview Regional Medical Center.
The celebration was not just for their victories but for reuniting with the doctors and nurses who helped them when they needed it the most.
“They cared so closely for their children and their patients, so it means a lot to them to see these kids thriving and enjoying life and they’ve grown and it really is just comes full circle today,” said Bryson.
The time spent in the NICU for the child and parents is scary and isolating. It means so much to the parents to have a community of support.
