Tia Mowry Embraces Her Gray Hair in Glamorous Selfie
When we think of Tia Mowry, it’s difficult not to reflect back on her adolescent days on the hit sitcom, Sister, Sister, alongside her twin sister, Tamera Mowry. She was always fresh-faced, often with a headful of voluminous, natural curls. But on Tuesday, Tia posted a selfie on Instagram taking pride in her gray hair.
Sharing her love for her salt-and-pepper crown, she wrote, “Grey’s I see you, but guess what, that’s okay. Because with grey hair, comes wisdom:).”

Mowry’s stunning selfie made fans go wild, and many of her followers found the post to be attractive and inspiring. Sissy_vicky wrote, “Your grey’s are gorgeous Tia!!! I’m 27 and I think I have more grey in the front of my head, but I’ve learned to love them as well!!” While gee_gee16 commented, “Yasss embrace the grays. They make you look 10 times more beautiful!” Rashad_omar also wrote, “I love when a woman can embrace her salt and pepper. It looks good on you Tia. You’re beautiful with it and I’m glad you accept it and not dying. You’re quite a beauty.”
Like Mowry, many other celebrities have shamelessly showed off their lovely gray hair. Take supermodel and businesswoman Heidi Klum, for example. She posted a photo on Instagram revealing her first gray hair.
Dermatologist Rachel Nazarian, MD, of Schweiger Dermatology Group told Yahoo Beauty, “If Heidi Klum didn’t notice her first gray hair until her 40s, it’s more proof of her being genetically blessed. But we already knew that.”

Black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross also uploaded an Instagram video in which she says, “Look, mama’s showing her age. I’m not afraid of my age,” referring to the gray hairs she has sprouting out of her cornrows.

Going gray is a part of life, and instead of trying to conceal or hide silver strands, more and more people are beginning to wear them with a sense of pride, just like these celebrities have.
