TikTok food critic Keith Lee visits two Greater New Orleans restaurants
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — TikTok food critic Keith Lee was back in the Greater New Orleans area in June.
After completing the Baton Rouge leg of his food tour, Lee visited two Greater New Orleans restaurants.
Known on TikTok for his food reviews, Lee visited New Orleans in 2023 and stopped at five restaurants.

In June, Lee visited five restaurants in Baton Rouge and two New Orleans-area restaurants.
Fantasy Tacos
Fantasy Tacos is located in Gretna and is owned by the husband-and-wife team Oscar and Cornisha Williams.
Lee got a Birria Pizzadilla, an elote, happy hour nachos, a big fish platter with catfish and shrimp, fantasy steak tacos and jerk chicken tacos.

Of the dishes he tried, the pizzadilla and the jerk chick tacos got the highest ratings from Lee. He rated the pizzadilla a 9.4 out of 10, and his wife rated it a 10.
The Birria Pizzadilla is described as a three-layer pizza with mozzarella cheese, birria meat, onions, cilantro, smoked hot sausage, Pico de Gallo and a cup of birria broth, according to the Fantasy Tacos website.
The Jerk Chicken Taco contains smoked Jerk Chicken, onion, cilantro, mozzarella, pineapple mango habanero sauce and pico de gallo on a corn or flour tortilla.
Lee rated the Jerk Chicken Taco a 9.2 out of 10, noting the chicken was well-seasoned.

In a statement from the restaurant, the owners said summer is a slow time for restaurants and as small business owners, this impacts their staff.
“This was an exceptional push for our business and we’re very thankful for the opportunity. It’s a blessing to be a blessing and that’s exactly what this was. We’re just grateful people are now traveling to Gretna, Louisiana to get a taste of Fantasy Tacos, ‘where taco dreams come true,'” the statement read.
Jamaican Jerk House
At the recommendation of New Orleans influencer Buku Triece, Lee also stopped at Jamaican Jerk House in New Orleans.
Lee tasted the jerk chicken with potato salad and corn, salmon with pasta and beef rib with macaroni and cabbage.

Lee’s highest-rated dish was the beef rib with the macaroni together. He gave the meal a 9/10, noting the amount of spice and seasoning on the beef rib is “insane.”
Lee rated the jerk chicken an 8/10, noting the chicken has “so much flavor.”
Lee rated the salmon with pasta a 7.9/10, noting the pasta was well-seasoned and the sauce tasted homemade.
Lee said Jamaican Jerk House was some of the best Jamaican food he’s had on his food tour so far.
