Tim McGraw Delights With 'Good Morning America' Performance
Days after Tim McGraw and the rest of his family delighted fans in their coordinated red carpet outfits, he's at it again with his newest performance.
The "Live Like You Were Dying" crooner stepped onto the stage for Good Morning America’s 2023 Summer Concert Series this morning, Aug. 25, ahead of his next big tour, where he belted out two tracks from his newest album and pulled out an old fan-favorite.
From Standing Room Only, he sang “Standing Room Only” and "Hold On to It," the small crowd roaring in support despite the poor weather. He also performed his 1999 hit “Something Like That,” the crowd positively jumping in excitement as he began.
The musician recently opened up about feeling "intimidated" by smaller concert crowds, explaining, "Because it's more intimate, you can see everybody, so it's not like you're yelling to the back rafters."
The concert he was referring to included a crowd of approximately 5,000 people and, based on the videos shared by Good Morning America, this morning's crowd appears to be a fraction of the size—not to mention the well-illuminated outdoor setting—but he certainly didn't allow it to give him pause, rocking out on stage the same as if he were in front of a whole arena.
McGraw hits the road again for crowd sizes he's most comfortable with next March for the Standing Room Only tour, with Carly Pearce in support.
Next Friday, Sept. 1, Sam Hunt will take the stage in Central Park. You can request tickets for the concert on 1iota.
