All the times the internet called out Donald Trump for being unchivalrous
Donald Trump has famously said, “I have tremendous respect for women,” but internet fact-checkers are challenging that statement, calling out the president for some unchivalrous behavior.
Trump’s latest breach of etiquette: Charging ahead of first lady Melania while boarding Air Force One in blustery weather. On Friday, cameras captured the first couple departing Washington, D.C., for North Carolina to attend the funeral of the Rev. Billy Graham, who died Feb. 21 at age 99.
In a video posted online, the president exits a black SUV and hurries up the plane’s stairs, seemingly oblivious to his wife, who walks steps behind him, struggling to keep her legs covered in the wind.

such a gentleman

I would have stayed in the car and gone back home. Not having that kind of disrespect.

How a man treats his wife/ mother of child/ mother says a lot about him and his ego.

Trump’s move and the reactions it brought are echoes of the morning of Inauguration Day in January 2017, when, after arriving at the White House, Donald exited the car to greet Barack and Michelle Obama, leaving Melania trailing behind him with a gift for the first couple.
Inauguration Day was the worst. Melania fetched gifts from the car while Trump took off. Then she had to be escorted in by Michelle Obama.

Please remember, This was the scene as the Trump's arrived at the White House on Inauguration Day. Trump got out of the car and ran up the steps, leaving Melania in the car alone. He has zero respect for her. The Obama's very graciously escorted her inside.

People were just as puzzled in September when the first couple visited Florida to give a press conference on Hurricane Irma relief efforts. In ending his speech — with Melania by his side — the president said, “But I just want to thank everybody, the first responders, on behalf of myself, our vice president, Melania really wanted to be with us…” Social media joked that the president was oblivious to his wife’s whereabouts.
Really?
How much longer do we have to watch before he realizes his wife is standing next to him?https://t.co/VSg3KpAzGb— Holly Figueroa O'Reilly (@AynRandPaulRyan) October 12, 2017

And people are obsessed with this moment on Inauguration Day when Trump greeted Melania with a formal smile, a sharp contrast to Barack, who grabbed Michelle’s hand and kissed it.

On Super Bowl Sunday, Trump was called “creepy” for enjoying the game while surrounded by cheerleaders from Florida Atlantic University.
Without compassion for misery or suffering! Same during his Super Bowl Celebration @ Mar-a-Lago when the porn-star payoff allegations came out … stands there watching the cheerleaders w Melania by his side … and then shakes their hands … so creepy https://t.co/qemaUs3Fqz

Not creepy or inappropriate at all: Melania looked stunned last night as she and Donald Trump were greeted by scantily-clad cheerleaders at their Mar-a-Lago Super Bowl party.https://t.co/oFF2GLstYC

The president may not have publicly acknowledged his 13th wedding anniversary with Melania in January — instead, he marked the occasion with a tweet about the government shutdown — but the internet did. Many noted the irony of the timing, given allegations that the president had paid off adult film star Stormy Daniels to deny their affair.
Impolitics wishes a joyous wedding anniversary to Donald Trump and his lovely wife Stormy — family values at their most traditionalish!

Yesterday was the 13th wedding anniversary of @DonaldTrump and @FLOTUS… not so much as a "Happy anniversary" tweet from either of them.#StormyWeather

Happy Anniversary to Trump and Melania. I figured I would say it since they obviously didn’t.
