Tired Of Tree Trimming? LEGO's Tiny Plant Collection Is The Perfect Family Activity

Let's say you love all things botanical, but don't exactly have the best track record when it comes to keeping your houseplants alive. Faux flowers are one solution, succulents are another, but allow me to offer a slightly more unorthodox (and way more creative) third option: LEGO's newly-released Tiny Plants set. Do they look like the real thing? Of course not. But they do brighten up any corner they're placed in, and make a fun activity for your next rainy afternoon.
The 758-piece set includes parts for nine plants, each of which comes in a terracotta-colored planter. The "species" range from tropical bloomers, like a bright red Laceleaf, to the carnivorous Venus Flytrap—something for every plant parent, truly.
Don't stress if you're not the most LEGO-adept: The indoor plants are divvied up into varying levels of difficulty, so you can crowdsource building help for the trickier ones. Once finished, display yours together (one reviewer dedicated an entire floating ledge to their miniature garden) or scatter them around your space for small pops of color.
"Once I saw this Lego set, it caught my attention and had to grab it. I have to say I did not regret my decision at all!" writes one reviewer. "I love that they are in different sizes and colors. They look great on a shelf/table!!!"
This is the latest launch in the LEGO Botanical Collection, which includes everything from a succulent arrangement to a Bird-of-Paradise set for when you want to branch out (sorry) from these florals. In the meantime, the Tiny Plants are available with Prime shipping and make a unique gift for either a friend or yourself—no gardening skills required.
