The TJ's Condiment That Fans Call 'Curiously Amazing'
It's BBQ season. And while juicy burgers and hot dogs are often full of flavor on their own, condiments can really turn things up a notch.
Pickles and mustard are two must-haves for any backyard bash, but leave it to Trader Joe's to combine the two — and people are seriously smitten. Trader Joe's Dill Pickle Mustard is so delicious it earned its own appreciation thread on Reddit (and you can actually order it online here.)
It all started with u/DulceSiren, who posted: "Dill Pickle Mustard — curiously amazing!" in the Trader Joe's subreddit.

According to the Trader Joe's website, the Dill Pickle Mustard is in its second season on shelves. The well-dilled pickle taste comes from diced-up pickles and dill. It's savory and snappy and makes for the perfect add-on for grilled meat, potato salad and deviled eggs.
Or, as one Redditor put it: "When I describe it to people I say, 'It’s like a McDonald’s cheeseburger in a bottle.'"
This Redditor isn't the only one who feels that way.
"It’s like having a McDonald’s kids meal burger with every use," another pointed out.
Others liken the condiment's effects to another quintessential BBQ item.

"It makes everything taste hot-doggy to me, in a good way," gushed a Redditor.
Trader Joe's fans love to rave about their favorite staples and seasonal items. But the Dill Pickle Mustard just may take the cake.
"One of the best seasonal items," said one. "I tend to buy 4-5 to try to make it thru the year. I feel bad, but it’s that good."
"OMG — I LOVE the Dill Pickle Mustard community," wrote another. "The best of Trader Joe’s."
Even pickle haters can't get enough of this condiment.
"I don’t like pickles, and I love that stuff," wrote one.
"Same! It’s just so good," agreed another.
Others offered suggestions on exactly how to use the Trader Joe's Dill Pickle Mustard, and our stomachs are growling.
"It's so incredibly beautiful on the turkey club wrap," wrote one.
"I recommend it with pastrami," suggested another.
"Make potato salad out of this," raved someone else. "I used about 1/4 the amount of mayo, and it’s so good."

There's one teeny, tiny complaint that kept popping up in the thread, though:
"My only caveat is some of the pickle pieces in it can clog the opening," said one person.
The good news? It's rectifiable.
"Came to say the same. I now unscrew the top and squeeze," someone suggested.
