TJ's Fans Celebrate the Return of a Favorite Freezer Item
Earlier this year, Trader Joe's shoppers were sadder than sad beige when they couldn't find the Broccoli & Cheddar Cheese Quiche. The uncomplicated riff on the classic, cheesy, savory brunch dish had disappeared.
"Where has it gone!?!" cried one Redditor in the spring.
It's unclear what happened to the Broccoli & Cheddar Cheese Quiche. However, it appears to be back from its summer hiatus—and the return is getting a ton of fanfare on Reddit.

What Is Trader Joe's Broccoli & Cheddar Cheese Quiche?
The Trader Joe's Brocolli & Cheddar Cheese Quiche is a fan-favorite frozen dish ideal for breakfast, brunch—or breakfast for dinner. The flaky crust is packed with a fluffy combo of eggs, mild and sharp Cheddar cheeses and bits of broccoli.
Unlike homemade quiche, the frozen option is easy to prep and can be cooked in three minutes in a microwave. You can also heat it in a conventional oven at 400°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
According to one Redditor, who apparently has a deep and wide knowledge of the product, the microwave directions for the quiche changed. "The old one was microwave [for] three minutes [at] full power, then 1:15 at 50% power, I believe?" the person said. "This one is just microwave for 3 minutes — that’s it."
The quiche serves two adults—or one hungry college student.
"I ate this a lot in college as they were inexpensive," wrote one Redditor.
Prices will vary by Trader Joe's location, but the suggested price for the quiche is $2.99.

Fans Are Dancing In the Aisles After the Broccoli & Cheddar Quiche Returns
Fans mourned the departure of Trader Joe's Broccoli & Cheddar Cheese Quiche this spring and are now equally pumped and relieved to be able to devour it again.
"YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!" said one Redditor, clearly letting out four months of pent-up sadness.
"OMG, FINALLY!!! THANK YOU FOR THE NOTIFICATION," wrote another.
All caps is a theme in the responses. Exhibit C: "PLEASE LET THIS BE TRUE!!" wrote a hopeful fan. "I was DEVASTATED when they discontinued this...I've been 'hungry' ever since."
"I’m so excited, too," commented the original poster. "My kiddo is such a picky eater, and this was one of his more reliable, healthy 'safe' meals. It was devastating when they discontinued it. I’m so excited to have it back in our rotation."
"If it tastes the same as the old ones, it’s soooo goooood," the person said.
Some Redditors never tried the original. One commenter is reading all the hype and has a bunch of questions.
"People that have tried these in the past, are they any good?" asked one. "Is this a breakfast meal or an anytime meal? What would you eat with this?"
"Good all by itself, honestly, and they’re not even that bad heated up in the microwave," wrote one person. "[The only thing I] put on it was some sriracha (or similar)."
