Al Roker and his wife, Deborah Roberts, are beaming with pride.

The Today show weather anchor and the ABC News correspondent can’t stop congratulating their son, Nick, on his latest accomplishment. After applying to colleges and patiently waiting to hear back, Nick received the email he’s been waiting for — he got accepted into college. But that’s not all, he was accepted into two different schools to continue his education.

In his signature way, Al gave fans a glimpse of the special moment when Nick shared the news with him and Deborah. In a 25-second Instagram clip, Nick is front and center confirming the news on his phone. “I got accepted. I’m not even kidding,” he said in the video. “I’m excited!”

With that, Deborah went in for a heartwarming hug while Al kept cheering on Nick. “So very very proud of my #collegebound young man. #congratulations @nick.roker155,” Al captioned the snippet.

After seeing the emotional moment, Al’s fans instantly joined in on the festivities in the comments section with a congratulatory message and heartfelt words.

“Ways to goooooo Nick!!! CONGRATULATIONS ????????????,” one person wrote. “Congratulations Nick! I have tears of joy for you! What a wonderful early Christmas gift! ??????,” another added. “Nick!!!!! Whichever college he chooses will be lucky to get him!” a different fan said. “This is the best news ever. So excited and proud of Nick! Perseverance and hard work pays off. Congrats to Nick and you guys for cheering him on,” a follower commented.

The celebration continued during Thursday’s episode of The View when Deborah appeared as a guest host. While sharing the “good news,” she admitted that she was trying to hold back tears.

“Many of you know, we have been on a journey with our son, Nick, who over his lifetime has been dealing with learning disabilities, developmental disabilities,” she said on the show. “But he has accomplished so many things … He just got accepted into college.”

She added: "I got his permission to talk about it because that is his private business, but he is so excited and we are too."

A huge congrats to Nick! We can't wait to find out what school he will attend.
