Jenna Bush Hager on TODAY
TODAY With Hoda and Jenna co-anchor Jenna Bush Hager has a new gig.
Bush Hager, 41, announced Thursday that her "Read With Jenna" segment will extend to a new podcast, aptly named Read With Jenna.
"I'm so excited about the Read With Jenna podcast," Bush Hager said. "I love talking with authors—hearing about the inspirations for their books, their process, who they were as kids and who they are now. I can't wait to bring their stories to as many listeners as possible."

The Read With Jenna podcast will feature beloved children's authors Judy Blume and R.L. Stine (of Fear Street and Goosebumps fame), as well as literary stars Margaret Atwood (author of The Handmaid's Tale), Amor Towles, Kate DiCamillo, Jerry Seinfeld, Mo Willems and more.
The first two episodes of the podcast will drop on Thursday, Sept. 21, and feature authors Colleen Hoover and Javier Zamora, respectively. The rest of the episodes will premiere weekly through the end of 2023. The podcast will be available on all platforms, including Apple Music, Amazon Music and Spotify.
The show will cover not just their books and writing, but also delve into their lives and inspiring personal stories.

"We have Javier Zamora, who immigrated by himself at the age of 9 from El Salvador to the United States," she said. "We meet Jerry Seinfeld, who everybody knows, but it's also fun to hear who he is behind the comedian, who he is as a father, who he is as a person."
Bush Hager says that the podcast will continue past the end of the year as well and that it's only just beginning.
“All of these conversations enrich the experience of reading," she said of the new venture. "You don't have to have read these books to listen to these conversations and feel inspired. And you'll leave laughing, which I think is an important way to leave."
