Jenna Bush Hager has a question for her followers, and it has to do with cozy footwear.

In a new video posted on the Today show star's TikTok, fans saw Jenna getting ready to head home after completing a day of filming alongside co-host Hoda Kotb. Before Jenna got into her waiting car, she turned to the camera to show off the shoes she was wearing. What's more, she asked fans to weigh in on the "correct" terminology and shared how she personally refers to the apparel.

"Do you call these house shoes or slippers?" she asked in the clip uploaded on February 20. "I call them house shoes, and I'm wearing them on the streets of New York."

The children's book author's video went viral online, with her question quickly sparking conversation in the comments.

Plenty sided with Jenna on her choice of label: "House shoes sounds way more dignified," one person declared on TikTok. "Texas girl …House shoes," another commented. "House shoes! And if I’m feeling lazy, I take a Clorox wipe to the bottom so I can keep wearing them in the house ??," a different viewer added.

Turns out a number of people say slippers: "Slippers all the way!" one fan exclaimed. "I wear my Ugg slippers out for errands all the time ??," another laughed. "Slippers with my robe! lol. But … my mom did say house coat for a robe!!" a different person noted.

Still others commented with something completely different: "South Carolina… Bedroom shoes," one person wrote. "In our house, we call them slipslips," another fan added. "They're all terrain mom shoes. in and out, and all weather. ??," joked a third.

While the jury is still out on whether Jenna was wearing house shoes or slippers, there's no denying the media personality loves fashion. She often shows off the outfits she wears on TV and to various events, like when she twirled in a Sergio Hudson dress in a TikTok posted during New York Fashion Week.
