'Today's Dylan Dreyer Shares Behind-the-Scenes Snaps From Exhilarating Adventure
The anchor is giving viewers an early sneak peek of a thrilling activity.
Dylan Dreyer is taking Today fans behind the scenes with a few snaps detailing what they can expect to see on an upcoming episode of the broadcast.
On April 20, the anchor took to Instagram to show off several group shots of herself with fellow show hosts Sheinelle Jones, Al Roker, and Craig Melvin.
The group appeared in an outdoor setting, with several images serving as major context clues as to what exhilarating activity they'd be participating in for the day: hot air ballooning.
"We’re doing what??? Where???" the meteorologist teased in the caption of the social media post, further urging, "You don’t want to miss the 3rd hour of @todayshow Friday morning!!"
The first slide captured a cheerful Dreyer and Melvin, excitedly smiling with a huge yellow, green and blue hot air balloon appearing behind them.
Other photos featured the team positioned in numerous San Francisco sidecars—fully decked out in the appropriate gear of helmets and protective eye goggles, of course—as well as laid out on the ground sleepover style on blankets. They even took a couple classic selfies from inside the basket of the aircraft.

The fun pics caused major anticipation among fans on social media, who took to the comment section of the upload with their elation.
"Can’t wait to watch!" one exclaimed, as another declared the quad "The greatest Today team!!"
Another gushed, "If there was a trip I wanted to take with four amazing people it would be Sonoma with the best team on the air! Enjoy!" while someone else agreed: "You are all so wonderful to watch, you make me smile each day. ??"
One insisted the crew looked like they were having "a blast," and an additional fan got a kick out of seeing them embrace the new mode of transportation, teasing, "Lol seeing you all ride in a side car ??????"
Many more assumed them to be in Sonoma County, a Northern California destination famous for both its vineyards/wineries and annual Hot Air Balloon Classic festival.
It seems like we'll all have to catch the fun adventure on Friday's broadcast in order to live vicariously through the beloved Today team!
