Tom Brady's Super Bowl Footballs Could Fetch Big Bucks at Auction
With a record seven Super Bowl rings to his name, Tom Brady has secured his spot in NFL history before he's even retired from the field. His performances at the Super Bowl with the New England Patriots have become the stuff of legend—and now, diehard fans (who just so happen to have a couple million dollars lying around) will be able to own a piece of that history forever.
According to TMZ Sports, two balls that Brady used to throw touchdown passes in the Patriots' Super Bowl XLIX triumph over the Seattle Seahawks in 2015 are expected to fetch at least $1 million at auction. The sale is being conducted by the Gotta Have Rock and Roll auction house and ends Feb. 23.
One of the balls Brady threw was caught by Patriots icon Rob Gronkowski for a touchdown in the first half of the game; the second Brady threw to Danny Amendola for another touchdown late in the game. Interestingly, the ball he threw to Gronkowski ended up tying Brady with Joe Montana for the most touchdown passes in Super Bowl history with 11, which Brady topped shortly thereafter with his scoring pass to Amendola.

Both pigskins have Brady's signature on them, and Amendola signed the historic ball himself too, writing "Super Bowl XLIX Game Used TD Ball" on it. Amendola also wrote a personalized letter to the buyer that comes with the order and certifies its authenticity.
If you have the spare change, why not give the Patriots fan in your life a gift they'll never forget?
