Tomi Lahren unveils 'Freedom' athleisure line for women 'proud to be an American'
Fox News personality Tomi Lahren debuted a star-spangled athleisure line for exercise — and self-defense.
Lahren, who hosts Fox Nation's First Thoughts and Final Thoughts, shared Instagram photos of her “Freedom” line with Alexo Athletica. “Some have told me I’m too ‘controversial’ to have an athleisure line, that conservatives should just stick to...Trump cheerleading,” Lahren wrote on Friday. “My response? Watch me.”
In a YouTube clip for the clothing, Lahren appears frolicking around on an overcast beach in the gear. “I think there are a lot of young girls out there that don’t really feel they have a brand that represents their freedom...their rights,” she says. “It’s kind of been taken away by a certain group of people...” The 27-year-old adds that she wants fans to have a brand that makes them feel “proud to be an American.”
Her athleisure line — which aims to do just that — consists of $89 leggings, $52 bra tops, $37 tank tops and a $99 bomber jacket, all in red-white-and-blue, star-and-camouflage prints. Elsewhere on its site, Alexo sells a pair of $72 “Carry Runners” with “7 pockets built into the waistband to carry all of your essentials” (including “personal defense tools”) and $94 “Stealth” leggings to store a “firearm (23 oz loaded or less).”
The company insists this is part of its mission.
“Alexo will never back down from supporting a woman’s right to choose how she defends herself while striving to bring the best in fashionable, functional active carry-wear to the market,” the site reads. Lahren, in the video, agrees. “It’s about freedom, it’s about the bill of rights, it’s about constitutional freedoms...”

Some followers fawned over the line. “These are very pretty! But I wish you’d make them with the holster options as well,” wrote someone. Others didn’t. When Lahren tweeted “#StayTriggered,” someone responded, “I don’t think anyone would be *triggered* by this absolute joke of an Alexo Athletica line. Thanks for the laugh!”
This is one activewear line I won’t be trying. https://t.co/eNjW9YMx3i

Time to come clean: It was me. I was the one person who said Tomi Lahren was too controversial to have an athleisure line.

People on Instagram remarked, “White Nationalist Barbie” and
”It’s almost like telling an athlete he should stick to sports. HMMMMMMMM. @youarearacist.” The last comment may have touched on Lahren’s public feuds with U.S. soccer star Megan Rapinoe, who has opposed the Trump administration.
In July, Lahren tweeted to Rapinoe, “You don’t have to like [Donald Trump] but when you have a giant ‘USA’ on your back, you represent this country and ALL Americans...you’re not a hero, you’re a virtue-signaling soccer player with a chip on her shoulder and an attitude problem. Get over yourself.”
